This little sweetie is just a doll! Oh, those curls, those pink sparkly shoes, those eyes…just adorable! it was my second time photographing her but she wasn’t too sure about the whole “picture taking thing” at first but when she warmed up to the idea, she was a hoot and a half. I love kids because they can just be themselves in front of the camera – no pretense, no pretending – just them being themselves.

Look out below… Hambone alert! : )

I couldn’t resist. I was finishing editing these and just had to post some additional images from this shoot. She’s so stinkin’ adorable!

Tatum brought Mom and Dad with her to the photos shoot… : ) Here’s a few of the family shots we ended up with.
A little silly…
And a lot cute…
One with Momma…
And one with Daddy.

This little cowgirl is turning three! She struck some sassy poses for me and was quite the charmer.

How fabulous are these pink boots?

Ok, I have a confession to make. Horses scare the bejesus out of me. They are just ginormous. So when a friend asked me to come to their riding barn and do some photos, I said “yes” but with trepidation. Turns out, all the horse (and their people) were awesome and not one of them scared me… : ) This is Victoria with her steed. I loved his coloring and spots.

Cindy and I worked together ages ago and were always enjoying a laugh about something or another. We reconnected through facebook and one day she answered my plea for models and volunteered up her kiddos for a shoot for an NYIP assignment I had. You may have seen the girls here and here. After the shoot, we made plans to connect for family pictures when her husband was home for the holidays. He’s in the Marines and is curently stationed in Afghanistan.
So we had a chance to get the whole family together just after Christmas and I did some photos for them. It was great to see them all together and so happy. I know they miss Edwin when he’s gone and I know they cried the other day after he had to leave heading back overseas. My heart aches for you guys. Hopefully, the photos will remind you guys of how much love there is between you even when you’re very far apart.

EJ is their newest addition. Isn’t he just scrumptious? I just wanted to smooch his little cheeks!

His big sisters love him SOOO much! He’s gonna be spoiled…just wait and see…ha!

Much love to you guys. Edwin, please be safe and come home soon. Thank you for letting me capture your precious family.
