Michael & Marcia [Glendale, AZ]

Thank you Michael and Marcia for agreeing to be guinea pigs for some ideas I wanted to work on…hope it wasn’t too painful! : )

Look!  We found greenery in Phoenix!

Wedded Bliss [Mesa, AZ]

I had the opportunity to attend a recent AzPPA meeting where I was afforded the opportunity to shadow the fabulous Michele Celentano. She’s 4’11″ of pure spitfire and a wealth of knowledge (that sort of thing happens after 20+ years in the biz). The focus was doing wedding photos of a lovely couple, Paul and Althea (aren’t they cute???).  Here’s a few of the results:

Business in the front; party in the back…

Wow!  It has been a while since I posted…oops!  Life gets so busy sometimes that you can hardly keep up!  Toss in a few days in the northern Arizona forests, a few good books and you can see why I’ve been absent around here.

I have a few business things to pass along.  First, (drum roll, please) I have a new website debuting in the next few days.  This may require you to update your Favorites link but I am not certain about that yet…stay tuned.  You can stay updated on anything new that I post by signing up for email updates, delivered right to your inbox.  Just go to the menu bar at the top of this page and over to the right and put in your email address.  Of course, if you still want to stop by here, that’s fine too…I love company!

Also, NOW is the time to book your session for Christmas photos!  Yep, it’s coming quickly.  I just put my Halloween decorations on the door and soon, it will be time for Christmas stuff.  For the short amount of time it takes to shoot the photos, it takes three to four times as long for me to edit so book soon, okay? : )

One last thing, a big shout-out to the fabulous Kristen over at Totally Rad for tweeting my post about how glamourous photography can be. You guys are totally rad (see what I did there? Hee!).

Now, on the “party” side of things…I gotta cool Out-of-the-Box deal for ya!  I hadn’t planned on offering any snazzy dealzz, but I’ve decided that I’d offer you 50% off the session fee IF you let me choose an unconventional location and style for your photo shoot. Think grassy fields,  parking garages, alleyway, junk yard, etc. Or let me know if you have an awesome idea for a location…  I’ve been scoping out new places and have some groovy ideas for shoots, I just need YOU!  I’d love to do some grungy and edgy types of shoots, so let me know if you’re game.

And, because no post is complete without a photo, I leave you with this treat from our trip up north.  Hugs!
