And now for some of the other critters we came across on our trip back to Arkansas…

There was this little piggy who came out to play until two beagles chased her away by biting her tail…

And Jason met this guy who he promptly fell in love with but he wouldn’t fit in the suitcase to come home with us…

And finally, this guy was our favorite!  He called to us from across the field and we promptly named him Chompie and fed him biscuits, bananas and pretzels. He was such a sweetie.

We’ve officially decided to get a donkey when we settle down in our forever home…

This is a first for me.  I’ve never tried photographing horses.  They don’t stand still very well or at least these didn’t. They were quite intent on chowing down instead of posing.

Golly.  It’s difficult to get my critters to be still long enough to get a good picture. I end up frustrated with them and they with me. Here are a few that I managed to squeeze out of them with cajoling, the promise of treats and a long walk.
